About Me
As a training marketing and communications professional, I bring a dynamic blend of education and hands-on experience to the table. As I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism, with a special emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations, my academic foundation has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding behind strategic messaging and effective communication. In my previous role as serving as an intern for the marketing and communications department, I played a vital role in the creation of the annual report. This involved collaborating with different departments, working with different programs, collecting data, and graphic design. The annual report serves as an official publication that encompasses the community college. As this publication is seen by the community and stakeholders, it is crucial to get the information and the presentation well. I thrived on the challenge of transforming data into engaging content that not only informs but captivates the target audience. Additionally, my expertise extended to crafting and executing mass messaging and email campaigns aimed for students. Messaging included notifying students about important registration dates, drop dates, graduation dates and deadlines, etc.. Emails and text messages were sent to over 2000 students. Managing two different programs allowed me to get the experience I need to execute more messages and communications through different platforms.

During my internship, I assisted in the management of Reedley College Facebook, Instagram, and other social media accounts. I attended events and regularly created content for their social media pages. I also earned experience in data analysis, assisting in campaign planning and execution, event coordination, graphic design, copywriting, email marketing, and more. Organizing files, managing project timelines, and maintaining documentation was also one of my main roles as an intern. I also created the High School Reports and the Reedley College Annual Report for the 2021-2022 School year. The annual report received Silver in the Collegiate Advertising Awards in the 5,001-10,000 student group.
